​Many golf clubs have reciprocal agreements, allowing members to play each other's courses for free or at a discounted rate. However, members are required to have the pro/golf shop request and book all tee times, a mandatory process.
This outdated system frequently results in a frustrating back-and-forth of calls and emails between clubs and members, reducing the likelihood that members will fully utilize the benefit.
The process is time-consuming, and approval is not always guaranteed.​ It's time to move beyond this outdated method of booking reciprocal golf play.
UGP Network Booking Process
​At UGP, we’ve streamlined the reciprocal tee-time booking process by removing the need for golf shop staff. Our online platform now allows UGP members to easily self-book tee times at top-tier public, semi-private, resort, and private clubs across our network.
This all-in-one system not only simplifies the booking experience but also handles the entire payment process. UGP manages green fee payments, cancellations, and refunds. Additionally, we directly disperse green fee payments to your club’s financial institution.
This approach offers more convenience for both members and clubs, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.​​​​

How do we pick our Reciprocal Rate? Are their any restrictions?There are no restrictions, golf clubs can choose whichever rate suits the club. Note: If your club only offers twilight tee times for reciprocal play, please ensure that it allows the UGP member enough time to complete all 18 holes

Is our club required to offer extra "Perks" to UGP Members?No, your club is not required to offer additional perks. Perks are optional and are used by clubs to attract players from the network by offering specials or discounts on items or services

How do we select reciprocal tee times for UGP Members?Your club always maintains complete control of your reciprocal listing. Your club can accommodate reciprocal play from as little as one tee time per week, or several per day, it all depends what is suitable for your club

Will our club members have access to stay and play packages even though our club does not offer one?Yes, all UGP Members have access to amazing stay-and-play golf packages throughout the UGP Network If your club does not offer stay-play golf packages, that is perfectly fine as it is not a requirement. However, if you decide to offer stay-and-play packages in the future, please do not hesitate to contact UGP. We will be more than happy to assist you in creating a free, customized stay-and-play listing on our network.

Is there a minimum number of days per week that we must accept reciprocal play from UGP Members?Yes. Golf Club Operators must offer UGP Members: 1) A minimum of one reciprocal tee time per week during the active season 2) Ensure reciprocal tee time allows UGP Member enough time to complete 18 holes

If our club allows reciprocal play during specific days or times, does this mean our members cannot book during this time?UGP never expects your club to turn your members away. We have several options to ensure reciprocal access to the tee sheet does not interfere with member bookings, events, tournaments etc. Please contact us, click here

Does our golf club retain full control of our tee sheet?Yes, your club always retains 100% full control of your tee sheet, and changes can be made to your reciprocal listing at any time, free of charge!

Does UGP require clubs to install third-party booking software?No, once the UGP Member has filled out the tee time request form, our booking concierge will contact your club representative and request the tee time on their behalf. Note: UGP Members cannot contact private golf clubs to self-book reciprocal tee times. Doing so will result in the permanent removal of the UGP Member
